Wow, i've neglected my DA for far too long. Despite going through hundreds of pieces a day, i still have 4k deviations in my watch. I've been terrible about thanking people for faves and watches and stuff, but rest assured: I'm quite excited about the spike in public interest, and i hope i don't disappoint this year!

I've had to kind of weed through my watch and remove people that i've no interest in following anymore... it's been 5 years easily since i've had any kind of interest in anime, so i've removed most of those groups and people. I've learned all i'm going to from that genre, so it's no offense to the artists: i had to hack out an entire GENRE from my watch, and it's still impossible to manage.

So there's good news and bad news:

The bad news is that i've been the chew toy and emotional punching bag for a handful of men this year, so i think i'll be taking a break from men for a while. Also, my brother committed suicide, and it's been something of a mess to clean up, both physically and legally. My namesake (Fusako senior) died of Lymphoma while under my care too. There has been too much death in my immediate family, and with men just up and leaving with no warning or prompting, so i think i'm forming some abandonment issues.

The good news is that this year, i am officially making "comic artist" my profession! I've been hired to draw a vampire graphic novel, (the goal is to make vampires scary again). Also, i hope to have my zombie book done in 2014, now that i have a publisher. So yay! You're gonna be inundated with vampires and zombies and what not from me for a while.
